Teamviewer allows us to securely connect remotely to your computer and fix your tech issues. 

How to open Teamviewer

Check your Desktop for Teamviewer If you don't see it there, try below

    1. Click on the start or magnifying glass symbol at the bottom left of your screen.
    2. Type "Teamviewer". Open the program. If you don't see it here, you will need to download it.
      1. Download it. Download here
      2. Run TeamviewerQS.exe

Sending the ID and Password to IT Evolved

You should see a window like below. This is just a sample image. Please don't send this exact information.

OR it will look like this if you're using the Quicksupport version. This is also a sample image, check your own personal ID and password on your device.

Don't download the Quicksupport version if you already have Teamviewer installed on the device, search for Teamviewer in on the desktop and in the Start menu first.

Provide the technician with the user ID and password simply by copy pasting it and sending it in your ticket. We'll connect up to your computer when we receive it.


Try some of these steps if the Technician is having issues joining

  • Ensure you are connected to the internet
  • Double check that the ID and Password you have sent us is correct
  • Make sure you keep the Teamviewer window OPEN or MINIMIZED while you wait
  • Passwords reset every 30 minutes or upon every re-opening so make sure you send us the codes when you're ready for us to join.
  • Restart the computer
  • Select "Check for new version" in the options/help menu
